With lovely streets lined with flowers, designer boutiques, and tempting shops of all kinds, the island of Capri is certainly a shopper’s paradise. While I have to admit I am not much of a shopper in general, I just love walking up and down the streets of Capri and Anacapri admiring the gorgeous window displays. There is a small side street in Anacapri where the displays spill out onto the street, with each shop seeming to compete in beauty and eye-catching design with the next. The one above certainly caught my eye!
Even the florist on this street had a beautiful display that sent heavenly scents up and down the street. While I would have needed a much larger pocketbook to do any serious shopping, I certainly enjoyed taking in the beautiful displays!
Where do you like to go window shopping?

I so loved going to Capri on our trip 2 years ago…I think it was my favorite place-the cliffs, the style, the PASTRIES, the restaurants, the views….we even saw Barbara Streisand strolling around town!

Ciao Anne! Yes, I agree the window shopping in Paris sounds delicious! 🙂
Ciao Linda Lou! Capri will always be one of my favorite places, too. Mmm… next time I will have to try out some of the pastries you mentioned. What should I look for? How fun to see someone famous while strolling the streets of Capri!
Ciao Chuck! Oh no… you had better stay away from Vietri sul Mare with all its beautiful ceramic shops! 🙂
