What kind of pasta is on your plate? by Charming Italy
Earlier this week, CharmingItaly.com shared a fun infographic chart to help you learn about the 100s of different types of pasta shapes in Italy. It’s really charming, and made me laugh quite a few times as I worked my way through it! This is just what you’ll need for the next time you’re left stumped about what kind of pasta is on your plate. (Click on the image to view the full size.) Have a fun and pasta-filled weekend!

I enjoyed that chart, too! Too bad there aren’t so many choices in gluten-free pastas.

Ciao Saretta! Hopefully, it won’t belong before you can find a better selection fo gluten free pasta shapes. Before coming to Italy, I didn’t really “get” the need for all the different shapes. But when you start eating and cooking the dishes here … it really does make a difference!

Saw this a couple weeks ago and thought it was really fun. Today, my husband and I were trying to figure out what kind of pasta Lidia used for a dish and I immediately remembered your post. I showed it to Mr. Tonks who demanded, “Save it! Save it to the hard drive! We need this!” Thanks to you I’ll be channeling my inner Lidia Bastianich for dinner tonight. 🙂
