June has arrived, and with it comes warm the summer days pefect for enjoying the beaches on the Amalfi Coast and the fresh summer produce of Campania. I am ready! To celebrate here on Ciao Amalfi, I have replaced the banner photo of the Amalfi Coast on the top of the blog to a photo I took recently in Amalfi. It captures the excitement of the beginning of summer for me! I will be changing the banner image every month now to highlight different seasons and locations around the Amalfi Coast. I hope you enjoy the new photos each month!
What are your summer plans?
Anne in Oxfordshire says
Hi Laura – I love your new blog photo, and such a great idea to change each month, cannot wait to see what else you come up with, it will be great anyway.
I have no summer plans, more Autumn-Winter..not unless I find a traveller partner, to come with me..it would be too expensive for me to rent an apartment on my own, but also I like to share my holidays..like the company.
Look out in the post 🙂

You took that on the ‘molo’ didn’t you? Great shot!

Ciao Anne! Happy you like the new blog photo! I am also so excited about changing the banner photos monthly. It will be fun to try to capture something about the Amalfi Coast for each month. Fun!
Hope you have some good Autumn-Winter travel plans to look forward to! Oooh…. love getting mail! Can’t wait! 🙂
Ciao Scintilla! Grazie! Yes, I took that down near where the SITA buses and tourist buses park in Amalfi. Good eye! Amalfi has those distinctive cement stones along the port that are shaped like jacks.

Heading to Amalfi at the end of the summer. Looking forward to it.

Unfortunately there will be no Naples or Amalfi for my wife and I this year. We’ll be hanging around the house and probably go to Cape Cod.

Ciao Food Hunter! How exciting! Will this be your first trip to the Amalfi Coast?
Ciao Gil! Ooh, Cape Cod sounds lovely though! 🙂
