“The pleasure of doing a thing in the same way at the same time every day, and savoring it, should be noted.” — Arnold Bennett
One of the joys of doing the same thing over and over again, whatever it may be, is finding the beauty in the littlest of details. While out walking, I love watching the tiny buds on the grape vines grow into broad leaves during the summer. In the autumn the vines begin to grow heavy with their fruit, and before long harvest time comes around again.
If I look carefully, peering down to a terrace of vines below the road, I can even watch the red veins slowly turn the grape leaves a rich red. One of my favorite moments of the year on the Amalfi Coast.
If you’d like to enjoy more autumn beauty on the Amalfi Coast, come along on a walk to Scala and Ravello!

Such a lovely post Laura. Too often we don’t take the time to focus on the smaller things, the minute details. I love your photos. Buona domenica 🙂

Ciao Cathy! Thanks for your sweet comment. I’ve been trying to slow down this year and pay attention to those little details. I find photography to be one of the best methods because it makes me look closely. Happy weekend wishes to you!
