As the rescue crews continue to work hard in Abruzzo and we hear hour by hour more tragic news, I am comforted by seeing the quick and massive response around the internet spreading the word about relief funds and information on how to make donations. There are many ways you can help the people of Abruzzo during this terrible time. The National Italian American Foundation has established a special Abruzzo Relief Fund, which makes it easy for you to make a donation to help the victims and their families. Valerie at 2 Baci in a Pinon Tree has a good summary of the different ways you can help out on her blog here. LuLu over at Calabrisella Mia has information about how to make donations, especially if you are located in Canada. Sara at Ms. Adventures in Italy has an extensive list of websites that will help you find more information on making donations.
My thoughts are with the families in Abruzzo and throughout Italy and the world who have been impacted by this terrible earthquake. Please join the effort and give a hand in any way you can!

Ciao Chuck! Yes, a shocking tragedy indeed. I wish I could help out in more ways, but I know how important it is to help in some way.
I am having a very time here in Nebraska. Thanks! The weather went from sunny and beautiful yesterday to grey and cold today. Still not spring yet I guess!
